Piece made of clay and decorated with quartz stones. The Pottery Pedrada de Nisa is a very old art and has characteristics that distinguish it from the rest of the pottery in the country.

Also known as Barro de Nisa, it was born from the need to keep the water fresh. The designs are symmetrical floral motifs that are scratched by potters on the fresh clay and filled with small white stones. This work is usually done by women. The stone is made of small quartz stones, which after being cooked at high temperatures, are broken into small stones that pass through sieves in order to be divided into three types or gauges: 1st, 2nd or 3rd stone, also called thick stone, with calipers of approximately ½ mm, 2/2 mm and ¾ mm.
