Alinhavados are also known as shredded. They are executed on a linen cloth, in which the necessary threads are removed from the weft of the cloth, in order to leave the bottom of the design open, the rest being decorated to the point of sieve. The layout is entirely limited to a bead point, that is, buttonhole and the sieve is made up of very tightly wound bundles of yarn, making the embroidery very robust and resistant.
